Collection: CONVENTIONAL REELS

A conventional fishing reel is a reel with a fixed spool that's mounted on top of a rod and a revolving handle for winding line onto the spool. Conventional reels are often used for trolling, fishing vertically from a boat, or when letting out line without casting. They can be larger than baitcasting reels and have a greater line capacity, which makes them ideal for reeling in large fish efficiently.
