SURF RODS

A surf rod is a fishing rod designed for casting lures and bait into the surf from a distance, usually 10-50 feet away. They are often the longest and heaviest rods available, and can be up to 13 feet long. Surf rods are built to withstand the saltwater environment and the powerful fish that are often caught while surf fishing, such as Papio, Ulua, Oio and Moi. They can also be used for ground casting and pendulum casting, making them adaptable to a variety of fishing conditions and casting styles.
